ARTS PROJECTS
Perfumes which aren't for wearing
We relish the chance to work on projects which need scents to bring them to life. These are a few of them.
Timeless - a pop-up installation
A week long installation at Old Street tube station, with the appearance of a smart cosmetics shop selling customised fragrance and skincare, Timeless was a project to explore the pros and cons of egg-freezing devised by the Liminal Space, and supported by the London School of Economics and the Wellcome Trust. We made real fragrances to evoke the stresses of modern work-life-career-parenthood choices.

BitterSuite
Working with Stephanie Singer, founder of Bittersuite, we first created the aromas for multi sensory perfomances of the Debussy String Quartet and have worked on three more projects since then.

Josh Bitelli
For our first project with Josh, we made the scent of an airport lounge on top of a new build residential project, on top of a gym - flooded. That's what he wanted.

The Shipwrecked House
Poet Claire Trevien needed two scents for her one woman show tour, the comforting smell of a wooden seaside home, and the not at all comforting smell of a shipwreck.

A Taste of Iceland: Art, Science and Exploration
To recreate William Morris's journey through Iceland in taste, touch, sound, sight and smell, filmmaker Teresa Stehlikova took over Soho's Black's Club with chef Charles Michel and neuroscientist Professor Charles Spence. We created the scents.
