Our stunning limited edition formula book

We've always said that it's best to keep your formulas recorded on paper. (The Cloud is just someone else's computer and it can accidentally be turned off.) As a huge fan of good stationery and handwriting, I've been searching for the best book available.

We found it in Portugal, at Papelerias Emilio Braga which has been making notebooks since 1918. We took two metro trains, two buses and a walk on a wet day to an industrial estate outside Lisbon airport to visit the workshop, found their black and red ledgers, had a friendly chat with the director and decided to commission our own design.

They offered us the option of choosing extra thick paper for fountain pen users, so we took it, because if you're going old school, you might as well go all in.

For this small edition, we choose a sky blue binding and hand-marbled paper for the cover, with blue edging and the Scenthusiasm(TM) logo on the inner pages. When we sell out we shall have a different version. There are 100 of these available

Details: larger than A4 hardback, saddle stitched, printed in red and blue with columns designed for bookkeeping, but just right for perfumery, including an extra for updates. 198 pages. I counted twice.
