This is becoming one of my favorite perfume houses. Dancing With Strangers is the best lipstick scent I've ever tried and has become my signature scent, and Mrs Gloss Lemon Sherbert is my new favorite lemon fragrance (i've been searching for my perfect lipstick fragrance and my perfect lemon for years). These are the only two perfumes in my collection I've considered buying backup bottles of. I've sampled so many of their scents and have so much fun trying anything they make even if it's a scent that's not my usual style. The craftsmanship behind the perfumes is not only high quality, but also the personality of the perfumers shines through and makes every scent an experience out of the ordinary. Their customer service is amazing and every package they send has a personal touch with handwritten notes. I love the tissue paper candy wrappers on their samples, they are such a treat to open!! I look forward to continuing to support this wonderful indie brand.

A group of friends and i did one of Sarah's virtual perfume making classes last November. It had been intended as an in person birthday gathering back in 2020 but ultimately Covid won and we did it remotely. Remiss of me not to write earlier but just to say everyone had a great time. It was great for us to be together and do something different together that involved different parts of our brains. We had a lot of fun as we were talked through the process remembering all the perfumes we ourselves had used and enjoyed over the years as well as those that used to make us recoil sometimes! it certainly sparked some great conversations and memories and we all came away with a better understanding of the process , and our own perfumes . I just wanted to drop you a message to say that The Orange Tree is now probably my favourite perfume. It’s properly orange, unlike some other orange perfumes that just end up smelling sweet. It still has the bitter edge which I like.

I came across you in the strangest way; I heard you on LBC talking about small business struggles due to COVID-19. I looked up your website afterwards and was determined to buy something! I ended up ordering some samples from a stockist and tried to buy from you but couldn't as you were sold out of what I wanted in the size I needed. I ordered it from another stockist in the end. But I wanted to tell you just how much I love the London 1969 scent. I have worn Jo Malone Lime Basil and Mandarin for years but was looking for a change/addition to my perfume wardrobe. I love the light citrus top note combined with the more masculine bottom notes. I can't wait until you can reopen and I can come and smell all your scents and buy something else! Keep going! I'm going to tell everyone about you!

I had meant to write a review for a long time, since I ordered twice from 4160 Tuesdays last year and was amazed by the incredible customer service and the overall house artistry and identity of the house.
I really appreciate how sweet and accommodating the team was, in making sure my order was shipped fast because I was only in UK for a couple of days and was worried that I would miss the parcels (I don't live in UK and only took advantage of being there for a few days to order with the UK shipping fees). I received both orders in time, and let me tell you, every parcel is a gift in itself: the bottles and samples come in the loveliest presentation, and are accompanied by a nice handwritten note. It's a delight to unwrap, read, and it makes you feel so special. I really like how they make every order so personalized and human.
Each order also came with a complimentary sample, even if the order value was not necessarily very high, which i find so nice, since most other companies are very stingy with samples even if you spend a good amount (I recently spent almost 150 GBP on another well-known company website and there was absolutely no extra in the package....). I'm so impressed on how the team was able to choose samples that I would really love. I assume they try to find something that would match the buyer's taste, based on the content of the order, or at least it looks like they do so. Because each time it was a winner, and it was all the more delightful because they were scents that I would have never chosen myself (just based on description or notes), but I ended up loving them. (My two free samples were Midnight in the Palace Garden - which is not a cheap one, since it's a parfum concentration, so i'm even more amazed that it came as free sample, and Tart's Knickers' drawer, which makes me feel so confident, fun, and for some odd reason, deliciously retro)
So far, from all the scents I tried, there is none that I dislike, which is crazy because I'm usually picky. The 4160 Tuesdays perfumes are so different from the mainstream (and even niche) perfumery, there is so much creativity and at the same time, the scents speak to you and your personal memories in a very special way.
I like the house so much that I pre-ordered the "Waft from the Loft" bespoken EdP, without even knowing how it will smell like (just having listened to how Dan, Joe and Sarah talked about the first trials, and knowing Dan and Joe's tastes), just because I admire Sarah McCartney's talent so much that I can't really see how it wouldn't be anything less than fantastic. I can't wait to be in August to receive it !!!
Bottom line, 4160 Tuesdays definitively stands out, not only as a perfume company but as a company in general, with their oh so lovely and generous staff, and the passion in everything they do, and the gorgeous creativity of the scents. If you're a perfume lover, do yourself a favor, try their scents and you'll find things that you've always looked for without even knowing it. It's that enchanting.

I just tested "The Sexiest Scent on the Planet. Ever. IMHO". It's a vanilla, amber paradise! The woody notes add depth to it and prevent it from being cloying. It's the scent of a mature woman who knows what she wants and asks for it! Well done 4160 Tuesdays! We are glad we have you and your special scents!

Ι live in Greece and I ordered by phone. First of all, let me just say how polite, friendly and helpful the staff was (I talked to Nick). I had made a mistake when ordering online, so I called them and they were just great!
I ordered #mrsglossmademedoit and I am in heaven! (I had already tried a sample by a friend) Cotton candy, turkish delight, sweet but not cloying, a unique scent that doesn't remind of anything else (and believe me, I've tried hundreds of perfumes)It's really longlasting with great sillage. What else can I ask for?
I highly recommend the perfume and the shop!

I have bought at least 20 scents from 4161 Tuesdays over the years and had lots of samples too. Most are wonderful, some I didn't take to so I gave to friends who loved them, some grew on me over time as the perfumes are complex and change.
Last Friday I attended a perfume making workshop and loved it. I learned more than I ever expected to learn in a day and even managed to create a decent scent.
I also took home the just arrived new scent Meet me on the Corner and it is gorgeous, a citrus chypre and I hope Sarah will continue to make it.
4160 Tuesdays is a wonderful company and Sarah a gifted perfumer. Long may it continue and grow.

Every scent profile is represented somewhere. The taster sets are such a brilliant way of starting on a 4160 journey. A special mention for Red Queen from this grateful fan. I love nearly all the 4160 Tuesday's scents. They are always great fun and interesting just like the 4160 Tuesday's team. Everything is beautifully presented and everyone is so helpful.
My only sadness is the loss of A kiss by the fireside created quite a while back. I am not surprised Luca Turin loved it. I live in hope that a bottle will eventually surface for me to pounce on. ????

I don't like gourmands....or so I thought. Mrsgloss lemon sherbert is divine and I wore it all summer.
I don't like fougeres...or so I thought. Another kiss By the fireside is so soft, warm and smoky.
I don't like fruity chypres...or so I thought. Paris 1948 makes me feel like Audrey Hepburn :)
Mrsgloss indoors is - frankly - a masterpiece. It seems to evolve and suit any season.
Sexiest scent on the planet ever is the only perfume I have ever bought a full bottle of after a recieving a sample. Utterly gorgeous.
Amberama? Oooh. Lovely.

I ordered a selection of samples that I chose personally. Firstly the delivery was lightening fast and presented beautifully. The presentation of the perfumes made it even more special when I opened it, like a beautifully wrapped gift to myself. I’ll not spoil the details for future buyers but it really makes the whole experience of buying perfume extra special. The perfumes themselves all have serious sillage, all permeating for hours longer than anything else I have tried. I am someone who struggles to get perfume to last longer that minutes on my skin, so this may be the answer for others who also are looking for some strong scents. Each scent has a name and story and the smells are so vivid as described, each one like a personal memory. All the scents are perfectly blended without one note seriously standing out, possibley due to the hand crafted mixing of each one. I could not recommend these perfumes enough.

I came across 4160 Tuesdays via YouTube reviews and Sarah's videos and fell in love with the feel of company so decided to get some samples. Just wow. In the age of online shopping its difficult to get a personal experience and that's just what I got. The care that goes into the 4160 experience is evident from the wrapping to the handwritten note on the gorgeous stationery and not least the a-m-a-z-i-n-g fragrances. Anyone that puts this attention to detail even in a modest order is a winner. Ealing Green is just one of the most delicious things I've ever smelt. Just wanted to drop in and say Hello! 4160 Tuesdays has become my favorite fragrance house and Sarah, my favorite perfumer! I have not found a scent that I do not like in her line. I have even got my mother hooked on Sarah's fragrances. Its almost a good thing I live in the US, and not London, because I would want to be at the 4160 Tuesdays shop all the time! Ordered the taster set and fell in love the the sexiest scent on the planet ever so ordered a bottle straight away, beautiful! Today tried inevitable crimes of passion, wow! Is all I can say, I think I smell vetiver which I adore ,fabulous fragrances and right up my street as I don’t want to smell like everyone else, thankyou!

Today I received my bottle of Captured by Candlelight and I must say I am captured by 4160 Tuesdays London's wonderful fragrances! My obsession began with Mother Nature's Naughty Daughters. Both fragrances are so different from what is out there on the mass market and envelope you in a magical whirl of olifactory bliss. Thank for creating these lovely frags! My next bottle will likely be Sex Goddess but I am going to enjoy these two beauties first!

loved my sample of Chantilly, a blast from the past and my teens in the 80s. Love the New York 55 as well. I am saving up pennies for more lush samples. I love how they were packed so beautifully in tissue like sweeties and in a little box, opening it up smelt lovely, it was like a birthday present.

I have been a receiving information about this extraordinary group, "The Fifth Sense" for quite some time. I live in the United States (Chicago, IL) and so very much wish that there was a group such as this over here. I have learned much from the website and from the informative posts. I've also made a monetary donation in the past. It was small, but heartfelt for sure. If there is any way that we anosmia sufferers here in the states could ever hope to be involved in such a supportive group, be able to attend conferences and possibly contribute to the cure, I would be forever grateful.
