We're Not Out of the Woods Yet first came into existence as a demonstration of how to make a sandalwood fragrance with a difference. Sarah and Arthur were making a film for our YouTube channel and the Scenthusiasm Patreon which she runs for artisan perfume makers.
After refining the original formula, the first batch was sent out to our Scenthusiasm subscribers and it went down so well that we made another batch and decided to release it to the world. One thing which makes it different is the Indian Attar Mitti, a co-distillation of clay pots and sandalwood, which gives it the wonderful aroma of fresh earth combined with creamy smooth Mysore sandalwood.
It is blended with Indian patchouli and vetiver, with wafts of amber woods, apricot and musk.
